From the outside, New York Fashion week looks like an effortless array of glamorous models and exciting designer clothing, elusive after parties and a list of celebrity gatherings. For a designer it is the most important week of the year.
As soon as IMG invited Hardware LDN to showcase the new AW22 collection at Spring Studio, Creative Director Jessica Horwell began crafting a show to express the bold and sexy inspiration behind her much anticipated AW collection. Once Jessica had decided on the key looks for the show, she jetted off to NYC to oversee the model castings which lasted 3 days. After seeing over 150 girls, Jessica carefully selected 34 models to represent the Hardware LDN attitude.

The new AW22 collection did not disappoint. As soon as the first model hit the catwalk it was clear Hardware LDN had arrived. The ready to wear collection is clearly an evolution of the brand's Spring Summer line, expanding on the use of luxurious trims & unique custom hardware elements that make the garments so instantly identifiable. Leather as always was a huge focus point for the brand from the sexy mini to the matrix inspired trench coats, every unique piece was perfectly crafted in this everlasting, interchangeable collection.
Hardware LDN didn’t only stand out for their non-conformist fashion style, even hair and makeup choices were noted in the beauty publications covering the event, as a new beauty trend to watch for AW22. The trend setting look included bold orange eye shadow, which was paired with two key statement hair looks, sleek urban braids and beachy curls, for that sexy “just got out of bed look”.
The show saw an incredible turnout and a few familiar faces from the likes of La La Anthony, to Coi Leray, who were spotted front row in key pieces from Hardware LDN’s SS22 collection. The entire show was live streamed by Vogue to over 60,000 of their viewers and to Glamour’s 2 million followers.
